Marathon Information

Only a few runners receive a starting place for the most coveted marathon through the lottery. We have been an official tour operator of the New York Road Runners with Marathon Travel Service since 1989 and have a fixed, limited contingent of starting places every year, without any qualifications! Experience the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon® with us. From the start at Fort Wadsworth on Staten Island, over the Verrazano Narrows Bridge, through the urban canyons of Manhattan to the finish area in Central Park, more than 2 million spectators will cheer on the runners. Live bands in Brooklyn and hot rhythms from music boxes in the Bronx accompany you on the route and make you forget the strain and exhaustion. In Central Park - New York's "green lung" - thousands of spectators wait for the more than 50,000 runners to cross the finish line and celebrate their arrival. This run will inspire you too! The entry fees include agency fees, bus transfer to the start, Parade of Nations in Central Park, T-shirt, certificate and medal. The entry fee is not included in the tour price.

We attach particular importance to the quality of your support during our marathon journey; our team is available to provide you with information about the race and with advice and support. Our New York City Marathon team will drive you to the start. On Friday we are offering you a run in Central Park, where we will run with you on the marathon route and of course have a photo stop at the finish line of the New York City Marathon.

Marathon Fanprogramm

While our runners are running the marathon on the streets of New York City, Katja Schmidt goes to the marathon route with her companions and fans to cheer, cheer and take photos of our runners.

Dash to the Finish Line

On the day before the largest marathon in the world with 50,000 runners, the superlative weekend was kicked off with the Dash to the Finish Line. Unlike other breakfast runs the day before a major city marathon, the New York 5K is a timed race. The 5 km run in the New York borough of Manhattan counted more than 10,000 finishers - 55 percent of whom were women. Many of them used the short 5 km distance as a final warm-up before the start of the 42.195 kilometers the following day. The route led across the wide New York streets to the marathon's original finish line in Central Park.

City tour: On Friday we offer a German-speaking city tour with our own buses, in which our team also takes part. Our approximately 4-hour city tour, during which we of course also get out and walk, not only takes you to the sights in the Big Apple, but our city guides also show you where the stars live and go out, where the cultural scene is at home and the best and hottest bars and restaurants in the city can be found. They would be happy to give you some insider tips for the next few days in New York City. The city tour ends at the Marthon Expo (Javits Center), where we pick up our starting numbers for the marathon.

The welcome event get-together@big-apple takes place exclusively for our guests. Here you will get in the mood for the TCS New York City Marathon® and get information about New York City and the marathon. Our New York City Marathon team and our New York city guide are available to answer any questions you may have.
